In his series Línumál, Vikar continues his investigation into painting as a medium of meaning and perception. The works build a visual language from repeated linear formations, where the line becomes structure, symbol, movement, and trace.
Inspired by the notion of undecipherable scripts, Vikar’s abstract compositions evoke a sense of systematic order while resisting concrete interpretation. Repetition plays a central role, placing the viewer in a space between visual perception and reading, where uncertainty shapes the encounter.
